As a practical guide: offices are often around 300–500 lux, screen-based work often around 500 lux, warehouse aisles about 100–200 lux, picking/packing around 200–300 lux, and workshops roughly 300–500 lux or more for precision work.

UGR < 19 is mainly important in offices and other screen-based environments where glare needs to be reduced. It helps create more comfortable lighting and lowers visual fatigue during desk work.

3000K feels warmer and is often suitable for reception, showroom or hospitality-like spaces. 4000K is the most common business standard for offices, workshops and warehouses. 6000K feels cooler and brighter and is often chosen where maximum visibility matters.

LED tubes are useful when you want to upgrade existing fluorescent fixtures. LED fluorescent luminaires are complete new fixtures and are often the better choice for renovations, new installations, damp areas or locations where durability and reliability matter most.
